Resurrection Band

Resurrection Band, también conocida como Rez Band o REZ, es una banda de rock cristiano, banda que se formó en 1972. Se basaban en la Jesus People EE.UU. comunidad cristiana en Chicago, Illinois, y la mayoría de sus miembros siguen formando parte de esa comunidad hasta este día. Conocido por su mezcla de blues-rock y hard rock, Resurrection Band se acredita como uno de los precursores del metal cristiano, lanzando su debut en 1978. la mayor popularidad de la banda fue durante la década de 1980, pero luego de esta década, recibieron un cierto éxito cuando tenían dos videos de su música que apareció en MTV.
Liderados por Glenn Kaiser y su esposa Wendi, la banda trató de evangelizar utilizando rock cristiano, y se dirigió a una variedad de males sociales en las letras de su música. Mientras que el grupo se separó oficialmente, en ocasiones los play-off una fecha en el Festival de Cornerstone, que a los miembros de la banda les ayudó a establecerse. Actualmente Glenn Kaiser tiene una carrera de solista establecido como un músico de blues y también es un altavoz en diversos temas espirituales para jóvenes y adultos.
Una de las bandas más respetadas del género gospel, activa desde 1971, formada por Glenn y Wendy Kaiser, la calidad de su música ha sido la base que le ha dado fuerza a bandas como Whitecross, Stryper, Holy Soldier...
Rompiendo terreno en el género, Rez ubicó el primer video en Mtv con "Crimes" pero fué con "Love Comes Down" de su disco de 1985 "Between Heaven N' Hell" cuando se disparó su popularidad.
